BREAKING THE NEWS

BASBLUE

CASE STUDY

Former media executive Nancy Tellem and entrepreneur Natacha Hildebrand teamed up to design a space that brings women together, from experienced professionals to entrepreneurs and those just starting their careers.  BasBlue is a non-profit space dedicated to women’s needs in fostering a diverse, authentic, and inclusive community.  We’re proud to have successfully launched this new concept in Detroit.

  • Our strategy included building awareness while defining this new non-profit model, leveraging our relationships within the community in order to  solidify BasBlue’s position within the existing philanthropic community. BasBlue was featured in 9 Articles between 2/22 – 3/31 and achieved 2.8M impressions across media outlets.  This created a networking affect across multiple social media channels as influencers extending the reach of BasBlue far beyond Detroit, MI.

  • The founders had a goal of obtaining 200 members in the first year of operations. We crafted a media campaign that centered on their core mission to create an authentic and diverse space for women and allies in Detroit. Within 6 months, BasBlue exceeded their initial membership goals by 275%. They also met their diverse membership goals 7 months ahead of schedule.

BasBlue’s early success has enabled us to further support them in launching their foundation, which will provide funding for women-led startups.
