OWN YOUR MOMENT.

Moment Strategies is a strategic communications firm headquartered in Downtown Detroit.

Whether celebrating a win or facing an unexpected crisis — we help our clients communicate effectively and tell their stories.

We help you own your moment.

  • Michigan Infrastructure Office

Governor Gretchen Whitmer established the Michigan Infrastructure Office (MIO) to ensure resources sent to Michigan through BIL, also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) are used efficiently and effectively.

The Michigan Infrastructure Office brought in Moment Strategies and its team to serve as MIO’s communications division.

  • BasBlue

Former media executive Nancy Tellem and entrepreneur Natacha Hildebrand teamed up to design a space to bring women together, from experienced professionals to entrepreneurs and those just starting their careers.

BasBlue is a non-profit space dedicated to women’s needs in fostering a diverse, authentic, and inclusive community. We’re proud to have managed the launch of this new concept in Detroit.

  • City of Benton Harbor

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and the State of Michigan are working hard to support the community of Benton Harbor and its efforts to ensure citizens have access to clean drinking water and promote ways to reduce lead exposure in the community.

  • Avalon

Moment Strategies was sought out to manage the breaking news of the Willis Street location closing, which would inevitably be tragic information to many. However, while we wanted to allow people space to mourn the loss of Willis Street, we needed to assure Detroit that there was still a bright future ahead— Avalon Bakery would stay in the neighborhood and move into the future of hospitality by joining forces with their friends from Jolly Pumpkin.

  • Detroit Equity Incorporated

Detroit Equity Inc. (DEI) is a nonprofit committed to ensuring Detroit’s comeback is within reach of every Detroiter in every neighborhood.

Under the leadership of Founder and CEO Bishop Edgar Vann, DEI utilizes its strong commitment and connections to Detroit’s ecumenical community, neighborhood-based organizations, and community leaders to bridge the gap between Detroiters and the greater corporate community by driving awareness of job opportunities, initiatives, research, and best practices.

  • The Fight for Reproductive Freedom

Following the decision by the United States Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade in the Summer of 2022, Michigan’s democratic prosecutors wanted to immediately communicate to the people of Michigan and healthcare providers that they would protect access to reproductive healthcare and would not criminalize abortion.
