With over 10 years of experience in customer service and office management, Morgan keeps MOMENT Strategies running smoothly. Responsible for overall coordination of a broad range of services/resources that allow the organization to operate efficiently. In general, Morgan is the “Go to” person. Internally she also supports business operations and process improvement efforts so the team at MOMENT can focus on delivering the high-quality services their clients deserve.
A Michigan native, when she is not working, Morgan enjoys golfing and spending time with family.

Sam Myers is a communications professional with a background in journalism and corporate storytelling.
She spent seven years as a reporter and news anchor in Iowa and Indiana before transitioning into corporate communications. For three and a half years, she served as a Communications Manager at Huntington Bank in Detroit, where she led strategic initiatives, media relations and content development.
Samantha is a graduate of the University of Missouri, where she earned her degree in journalism.

Angel supports both strategic communications and digital marketing in her role as a Communications Manager at Moment Strategies. She works closely with MOMENT leadership to ensure our clients’ voice, strategy, and brand is consistent both on and offline.
Angel has had a significant impact within the digital marketing space leading influencer campaigns for clients and social media management efforts to include copywriting and content publishing.
A proud graduate of Loyola University Chicago, Angel earned a Master of Science in Global Strategic Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising.

With nearly 20 years of experience spanning industries from retail to healthcare and aerospace, Chandra is a proposal writer and project management professional known for translating complex technical and business concepts into compliant proposals that support sustained operational growth.
Passionate about continuous improvement, Chandra leverages Six Sigma methodologies to support MOMENT in streamlining the proposal process, enhancing quality, and meeting critical deadlines. She is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) chapters.

As MOMENT’s fractional Chief Operating Officer, Daniel supports strategic planning and business development, and manages the firm’s business operations. Daniel leverages extensive experience as a business owner, public company executive, non-profit leader, and regulatory lawyer to help the MOMENT team focus on serving clients. He is a co-founder of Heartmonic, which focuses on providing resources to help people and businesses grow.

With 20 years of experience in TV news media, government and corporate and community relations, Alexis is a skilled strategist who knows how to develop and deliver an effective message that connects with the needs of the community, gains buy-in and makes an impact.
Alexis spent six years serving the City of Detroit as Mayor Mike Duggan’s Chief of Staff, and was named by Crain’s Detroit Business as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Michigan and Crain’s Newsmaker of the Year for 2024. She also served as a co-chair of the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit, helping to showcase the city on a national stage. An active member of the Detroit community, Alexis sits on the boards of Jefferson East, Inc., DRCFA and the Rocket Mortgage Classic Community Fund.

Rachel has over 8 years of experience developing communications strategies for public organizations nationally geared toward increasing engagement and collaboration. She has expertise in content development, media relations, strategic communications, crisis communications, storytelling and demonstrating the real, community impact of her clients’ work.
Rachel has supported a variety of clients across industries including economic development, state and local government, education, advocacy, community engagement and non-profits.
Her passion for politics, social media, advocacy and AP style are what makes her a key member of our team.

Valerie Pesonen is a strategic communications leader with more than a decade of experience driving high-impact brand activations and integrated campaigns. She specializes in media relations, strategic planning and storytelling that connect clients to their audiences in authentic ways.
Throughout her career, Valerie has provided counsel across a variety of industries including economic development, housing, education, CPG and event management. Valerie has led large-scale initiatives for major events like the Rocket Classic and NFL Draft, guiding corporate, nonprofit and political clients through holistic communications strategies that deliver results.
Known for her client-first approach after years of experience in the hospitality industry, she brings vision and execution to every project.

Lauren Scott, a communications associate at MOMENT Strategies, brings her journalistic background and passion for storytelling to her role in strategic communications and media relations.
A Michigan State University graduate with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Public Relations, Lauren combines her media insight with strong relationship-building skills to craft impactful messages, manage crises and shape brand narratives that drive results.
