Moments that Matter for Michigan

At MOMENT Strategies, we don't just live in Michigan, we live for Michigan.

Our team is made up of communications professionals who call this state home. We raise our families here. We pay bills, drive through the potholes (and complain about it every chance we get…) and feel the neverending winters. The challenges Michiganders face every day like affordability, access to a quality education and finding the training to build a lifelong career without having to leave the state to do it, are concepts we understand – because they're our challenges, too. That shared experience is the foundation of our work.

We’re storytellers. But a good story doesn’t just have a beginning, middle and end. It has a purpose. A message that resonates and stays with you. A good story is built through a powerful narrative…a challenge, a turning point and a resolution that makes you believe something better is possible.

At MOMENT, we partner with clients who are part of that resolution. Organizations and leaders who are actively working to make life better for Michiganders. Our job is to help their stories reach people who need to hear them in moments when it matters most.

Some of our most meaningful work happens in complex issues – when we distill them into narratives that fit with everyday life. From economic development that brings jobs and investment to Michigan to brownfield redevelopment projects breathing new life into previously unusable sites to critical changes in healthcare and food assistance across zip codes.

These stories aren’t easy to tell. That’s why we use proven, hands-on methods that work. We’ve led roundtable events, site tours and media availabilities to turn complex issues into clear, relatable initiatives. This approach helps connect Michiganders – and the media – with the right message and a simple way to access resources.

The result? Media coverage that reaches Michiganders in every corner of the state including Traverse City, Benton Harbor, Bay City, Grand Rapids, Flint, Lansing and the U.P.

Behind every story we tell, there are real people who benefit from the impact. And that’s what keeps us  going.
